Charl de Villiers is Head of Equities at Ashburton Investments since 2021. He manages the Ashburton equity portfolio, the team and investment process. Charl has a stellar portfolio management track record, with almost two decades of asset management experience. He is a CFA Charterholder, with an MBA and a B-tech in Electrical Engineering. Charl is focussed on developing a robust equity process at Ashburton and spends his spare time between his family and the ocean. 

Daniel Masvosvere is an Equity Portfolio Manager at Ashburton Investments. He co-manages the flagship Ashburton Equity Fund and Ashburton Namibia Equity Fund while also maintaining research coverage across multiple sectors. He joined Ashburton in 2021 as a Senior Equity Analyst before being promoted to his current role.  He has 10 years of experience working in listed and unlisted equity markets. He is a CFA Charterholder, has an LLB, a Master’s in Mercantile Law and a Master’s in Finance and Law. Technical consistency in the area of company valuation is one of his job-related passions. While away from the office, his family and faith are his central passions.
