Global equity market strengthened in October as a bumper United States (US) earnings season boosted investor sentiment. Close to month end, with 263 out of 500 S&P 500 companies having reported results, the aggregate revenue surprise was +1.6% and the aggregate earnings surprise was +9.7%.
