Kathy covers global equities for Ashburton’s International team. She joined the team in South Africa in 2013 as an Equity Research Analyst for the African Equity Opportunities Fund, having moved home from the UK in 2010. Kathy has experience covering listed Pan-European retail stocks and South African listed retail sector. Kathy holds a Bachelor of Commerce (IT and accounting) degree from the University of the Witwatersrand, a Masters of Professional Accounting from the University of Southern Queensland, and is a CFA charterholder.

Lesiba Ledwaba is the Head of Property Fund Management at Ashburton Investments. His career started at BJM Private Clients Securities in 2004 as a trainee on the equity dealing desk after undergoing an Umsobomvu Youth Fund internship and training at Investec Private Client Securities. In 2006 he joined BJM Asset Management as a Research Assistant and subsequently a Portfolio Manager within the team. He joined the RMB Private Bank portfolio management team in 2011 following the acquisition of BJM Private Clients Services by First National Bank.

Tlhoni Komako is a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager at Ashburton Investments since 2021. He has almost a decade's experience in the asset management industry. Prior to joining Ashburton, he was a Portfolio Manager at Old Mutual Investment Group and managed bespoke inflation-linked and nominal bond portfolios. He started his career as an independent consultant assisting individuals and small businesses to achieve their financial goals. Tlhoni holds a BCom in Statistics, a BSc (Honours) in Statistics (cum laude) and various certificates from The South African Institute of Financial Markets. He is a proud father and enjoys playing Lego with his son. Tlhoni is a foodie and a keen golfer, who spends his weekends either looking for his lost golf ball on the course or out and about with his family.

Daniel Masvosvere is an Equity Portfolio Manager at Ashburton Investments. He co-manages the flagship Ashburton Equity Fund and Ashburton Namibia Equity Fund while also maintaining research coverage across multiple sectors. He joined Ashburton in 2021 as a Senior Equity Analyst before being promoted to his current role.  He has 10 years of experience working in listed and unlisted equity markets. He is a CFA Charterholder, has an LLB, a Master’s in Mercantile Law and a Master’s in Finance and Law. Technical consistency in the area of company valuation is one of his job-related passions. While away from the office, his family and faith are his central passions.
