Steven Amey is the Head of Retail Distribution at Ashburton Investments, servicing intermediaries.  He has over 22 years of experience in the financial services industry. He is a distribution expert, who has worked in asset management, asset consulting, short-term insurance, healthcare and financial planning. Prior to joining Ashburton, Steven was an executive and Head of Sales and Distribution at Discovery Invest,  and previously worked at Sasfin, Ninety One and Glacier. Steven holds a BCom Honours in Investment Management and an MCom in Tax. He is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). Steven loves sport and has completed several IRONMAN events, most notably competing at the 70.3 world champs in France and finishing two Comrades marathons. He is happily married and has two beautiful children.
