About
Boshoff Grobler is the Chief Executive Officer of Ashburton Investments and is responsible for the implementation of the FirstRand Group's investment management strategy. Boshoff joined RMB in 2000 after providing legal counsel to the South African Reserve Bank (SARB) for three years. During the 16 years with FirstRand, Boshoff has served as a Specialist Transactor and as Executive Director for various capital market vehicles. In 2007, he assumed responsibility for the Debt Capital Markets division on the executive committee, and was appointed to the management board of the Investment Banking division. He graduated cum laude from the University of Pretoria with his BCom degree in Law as well as his LLB. Boshoff also holds an LLM in Banking and Stock Exchange Law from the University of Johannesburg, where he graduated first in his class.
