FirstJob graduate programme

The FirstJob Graduate Programme is a FirstRand Group initiative designed to give unemployed South African graduates their first structured work experience within the Group. The programme aims to bridge the gap between formal education and the workplace while addressing youth unemployment.

As part of the FirstRand Group, Ashburton supports the Group’s FirstJob Graduate Programme, a structured initiative aimed at providing unemployed graduates with their first formal workplace experience.

Through FirstJob, Ashburton Investments:

  • Contributes to youth employability and development,
  • Offers meaningful exposure to the asset management industry,
  • Supports the FirstRand Group’s commitment to shared prosperity.

Candidates aspiring to specialist investment careers should view FirstJob as an opportunity to gain initial corporate exposure, build professional capability and strengthen future employability either within the Group or more broadly in the financial services sector.
